Jerk-O-Meter

Researchers at MIT are developing a Jerk-O-Meter. This fancy little device will monitor the voice and tone of the people on the line and let you know how much attention is being paid to the conversation. If you're immersed in the conversation you'll get a message saying "Wow, you're a smooth talker". If you could use some work, or are distracted something else will come up. "Hey, don't be a jerk!"

While this is a cool gadget and those guys & gals at MIT are freakin' genius' I hope we don't ever get one of these. All I see coming from these are more fights.

For example, I am very attentive and am always aware of what is going on around me. I have been accused however of being the opposite simply because I don't appear to be paying attention. This gadget would tell me I'm being a jerk when in reality I'm not at all.

For any of you other guys that fall victim to this Jerk-O-Meter all I can say is I'm sorry. It's clearly going to be us that get the business end of a Jerk.

Seems to me the ones that would be against the distribution of this gadget have something to hide. Jerk.
